I am a product builder and technical writer. I made this after watching strong resumes fail because the template scrambled in a parser. The scanner is the product I wanted on the other side of that screen: honest, local, and usable without a signup wall.

How the score works

This is not a black-box “ATS score” from a vendor. We extract the text in your browser, then apply a multiplicative model:

Keyword match (50%) against the job description you paste (optional).
Structure (25%) — standard sections a parser expects.
Impact (25%) — metrics and action verbs in bullets.

Template compliance is a multiplier. A multi-column or table-heavy file can hide keywords even if the writing is good. That is why a pretty Canva resume can still score poorly.

The number is a diagnostic, not a job offer. Different employers use different ATS products and settings. We cannot guarantee interviews.

What is free, and what is not

Scanner and resume maker are free, unlimited, no signup.
Your resume stays on the device for the scan. We do not receive the file unless you pay for a human review and send it on the intake form.
Ads help keep the scanner free. This site is not ad-free.
Optional human review ($49 / $79) is a paid writing pass if you want a person to edit the file. It is not a placement service.
